I'm Joseph Hounto — a medical student in Lomé who designs, builds software, and runs a graphic studio. Not three careers competing for time. One approach applied three ways.
I study medicine at the Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Lomé. That's the long project — the one measured in years, not weeks.
Alongside it, I design. It started in the multimedia service of my church in Agoè Assiyéyé: graphics, visual communication, video, event materials. Real deadlines, real audiences, no budget for mistakes. That's where Kaleinch Graphic Studio came from — the studio identity I still work under today.
Then came the constraint that changed how I work. Medical school leaves very little time, and the freelance work that funds everything requires constantly searching for opportunities. Searching isn't earning. So I built Sentinelle — a system that collects, classifies, and scores opportunities automatically, and pushes only what's worth acting on.
That's the pattern underneath all of it: I don't want to do a repetitive thing better. I want to build the system that removes it. Medicine teaches you to look for the mechanism, not the symptom. It turns out that transfers.
Where it's heading: digital health. Solutions where clinical understanding, technology, and design meet — built for contexts like the one I live in, not adapted to it afterwards.
Currently building on the entrepreneurship side too — selected among 33,000+ applicants across Africa for the ImpactHER × AUCIEFFA capacity-building program, ongoing in 2026.
Akin The Dream. The studio name I've been building under — the identity behind the client work on the design page.
The mark is a hexagonal form split into facets, held in a rounded square. Structure and light: the same discipline applied to a t-shirt print, a conference campaign, or a landing page.
Whether a project comes to "Joe Kaleinch" or to KGS, it's the same hands doing the work — and the same standard.
Listed honestly — advanced means I work in it daily, notions means I can get there but wouldn't sell it as a specialty.
There's a way to do it better — find it.
